— A Power Transition Without Ceremony, Yet Full of Restlessness By | Hearing Each Other If you had moved abroad at the beginning of 2025 and returned in the summer, just like me, you might be surprised at how calm everything seems on the surface. Trump really is back—but not with the roaring crowds orContinue reading “Why the Political Air in 2025 Feels Strange”

We’re Paying for Their Windfall: Why the Middle Class Should Reject OBBBA
By a Middle-Class American Taxpayer They said it was a “big and beautiful” bill. What they passed was a Trojan horse: one that sells out the future of working families to protect corporate profit, defend Trump-era tax policy, and undermine the very programs middle-class Americans will rely on tomorrow. As a middle-class taxpayer, I’m notContinue reading “We’re Paying for Their Windfall: Why the Middle Class Should Reject OBBBA”
