文|內華達華人協會提供 2025年7月26日,由內華達華人協會主辦、UNLV亞裔及亞裔美國人研究機構(Asian & Asian American Studies)協辦的社區觀影活動,在內華達大學拉斯維加斯分校(UNLV)馬喬里·巴里克藝術博物館(Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art)舉行。活動免費開放,吸引了近百位以拉斯維加斯華人居民為主的觀眾到場參與,現場氣氛熱絡。與會者包含學者、社區工作者及關心城市規劃與華人未來的民眾,大家齊聚一堂,共同觀賞紀錄片《Big Fight in Little Chinatown》(中文譯名:《唐人街大奮鬥》),並在觀影後展開深入對話。

融入,还是坚持自我?
——当“身份认同”被说成是伪命题的时候 身份与族群系列(终语) 文|之间博客 在一次社区讲座的问答环节里,一位年长的华人移民举手发问:“我觉得我们这些少数族裔,老纠结什么‘身份认同’没意思,最重要的是要想办法融入美国社会,不要总强调我们跟别人有什么不同。”他的语气诚恳,眼神里有一种曾经失败过、也曾拼命适应过的疲惫。他说这话的时候,一位坐在后排的年轻亚裔女生微微皱了眉头。我能理解她的感受,也能理解那位长者的立场——这正是许多移民和少数族裔群体在现实中常常碰撞出的分歧。 但我们真的能把“身份认同”当成一个可以跳过的议题吗?又或者说,我们所谓的“融入”,究竟指的是什么?

《大而美法案》之后的社群行动策略 文|一呼 导语|当法律已成现实,我们如何仍然选择发声、选择行动? 2025年,《大而美法案》(One Big and Beautiful Bill Act, 简称 OBBBA)在激烈争议中通过。这部庞杂的法案囊括了税收调整、能源投资、社会福利重构等多个领域,却也引发了广泛质疑:对中产家庭的支持是否到位?对弱势群体的保护是否充足?公共资源分配是否公平? 法案既已成为现实,反对还“有用”吗?面对这样一个合情合理的问题,不少社区组织者、行动者开始调整姿态,把焦点转向“如何在新制度下争取最大利益”,而不是继续“无力地批评”。但我们想提出一个更具建设性的回应方式:不是批判或务实的二选一,而是批判与务实的双轨并行。
